UTG Digital Media introduces its own 10.1” Custom Touchless Digital Body Temperature Measuring Device with Facial Recognition Technology, TempRay
Designed by UTG in Ottawa, Canada, TempRay creates a safe workplace environment and helps avoid infection spread
(Ottawa, ON) – May 8, 2020. With the global spread of the Coronavirus and its impact on the world health and economy, UTG Digital Media designed and released TempRay to assist in epidemic prevention and future control. TempRay is a touchless 10.1” digital display that measures individual body temperature and alerts any anomalies in public places. Equipped with a facial recognition technology, the system detects temperature of individuals with or without protective facial masks.
TempRay, designed by UTG, measures individual body temperature, and alerts any anomalies.
TempRay is a high-performance hardware platform that offers fast and stable temperature measurement results. It has a built-in industrial-class binocular camera, infrared thermal imaging module and an AI dual-light face detection to offer high accuracy detection rate and prevent false reporting. The system alerts when an abnormal body temperature is detected.
With a temperature accuracy rate of within 0.2 °C, TempRay works in seconds. With the information stored locally, the system is extremely secure, which minimises threats to data breach or collection. Employers can manage staff clocking in and out seamlessly with payroll integration.
“We are all looking forward to going back to a safe and secure environment” says Alan Wehbe, Founder and CEO, UTG Digital Media, “and to achieve that, continues Wehbe, we locally designed this reliable high-performance tool for the workplace and public areas to assist with the prevention of future epidemics and infection spread”.
TempRay is easy to set up and use. It can be installed in any building entrance and/or added to any access gates or attendance system to allow a safe and efficient access control for staff. It can also be wall mounted, floor standing, countertop, or integrated with automatic doors and entry gates and supports ID card readers and fingerprint readers.
UTG’s innovative device pre-screens anyone before entering any premises. This advanced device is highly recommended in various workplaces, such as government buildings, city hall, restaurants, fast food locations, community centers, office buildings, schools, hotels, scenic spots, transportation hubs and other public service places.
